Production Team Member - Machine Operator, Mixing & Depositing

At Cookie It Up we've been making extraordinary cookies for 40 years. We are now looking for a reliable Production Team Member to join our Mixing team.

* The ideal candidate is hard-working and loves to work in a positive team environment. Most of the day is "on your feet".

* The candidate must be physically capable. The ability to lift heavy ingredients is essential (up to 55 lbs).

* The selected individual must have an excellent attention to detail. Accuracy is critical to the role.

* The candidate must be meticulous and able to repeat exact procedures.

* The candidate must have a rock-solid command of the English language - both written and verbal.

* The primary responsibilities of this role are weighing and verifying ingredients; preparing dough using an industrial stand mixer; accurately recording lot code/ traceability information onto batching records; operation of depositing equipment; loading and unloading of dough or pans into equipment; manual portioning of dough; quality checks; and sanitation of the work areas.

* Equipment used in the role include: weigh scales, commercial mixers, and depositing equipment.

* Food production experience is not required but is a valuable asset.

* Workdays are Monday to Friday with occasional Sundays. When Sunday shifts are required, time off in lieu is provided in the week that follows.

* Standard hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

* Steel-toe footwear is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

• food production: 1 year (preferred)
