Production & Packaging Worker
$19.00 per hour to start, $19.50 after a 3-month probationary period.
Shifts: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm or 9:00am – 5:30pm
No Meat Factory Inc. is currently looking for energetic Food Production & Packaging Workers to conduct various tasks in our facility. We will train you! No Meat Factory was founded in 2019 to produce meat alternatives such as chick'n bites for international branded companies, our clients. Our industry mission is to meet the need for healthy, sustainable protein to feed a global population of nine billion by 2050. We need team members to join our staff in producing and packaging high quality, plant-based protein meat-alternative food products.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of pre-assembly of production lines, set up belts, open boxes.
- Feed raw material into production machinery
- Monitor the production process.
- Pack finished goods in preparation for shipping.
- Application of labels
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
- Conduct basic quality and testing checks.
- Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse
- Post-production and packaging dis-assembly of machinery and equipment in preparation for the sanitation night crew cleaning.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs), facility cleanliness, personal hygiene and machine sanitation when working with food products.
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
- Other tasks as assigned by Production Manager and/or Production Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Able to be a team player and effectively communicate with others.
- Follow all written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
- Capable of lifting thirty pounds unassisted
- Capable of doing repetitive tasks
- Able to work standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to work around machinery and in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable mode of transportation, Dependable, and punctual
Education and Experience
- Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors and with administration
Industrial Environment: Food production manufacturing facility
Dress Code: Steel toe boots, hair nets and lab coats are required when working inside the production and packaging area. (Hair must fit in a regular hair net.)
Must be able to remove all facial and hand jewelry when working inside the production area.
