Production Worker Afternoon Shift

Summary:

Fibrex, a division of VPC Group Inc., is looking for a permanent full-time General Labor to support its manufacturing operation in Winnipeg, MB for Afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm).

The ideal candidate must demonstrate/possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:

• Understand and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
• Assemble/adhere components to create finished products according to customer specifications and expected quality
• Must know how to use Measuring Tape and Tools
• Prepare products and orders for distribution
• Understanding of Shipping requirements
• Ability to work in various areas of the plant
• Understand and adhere to on-time-delivery parameters
• Identify/implement process improvement ideas
• Use baler to compact excess material.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 kg

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable method of transportation
• Must have a positive attitude and value working well as an integral part of a team
• Must demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and apply learning in day to day processes
• Valid Forklift license an asset
