  • Provide administrative and technical support for small and large events hosted by Youth Employment Centre (YEC).

  • Work with youth and young adults including engagement with vulnerable populations.

  • Previous community or youth programming experience.

 
 
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a degree in Social Services or a related discipline.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A Valid class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) and the use of personal vehicle.
  • Success in this position requires excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with vulnerable population, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and facilitation, and attention to detail.
 
Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
  • A security clearance will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Location: 315 10 Avenue SE
Compensation: $27.16 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
Audience: Internal/External
