THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently hiring for the role of Project Designer in our Calgary Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS

• Reviews project standards and specifications, design instructions.
• Communicates and interfaces with other project design and engineering teams.
• Can independently design, Vessel, G.A., Structural, isometrics and other design drawings.
• Will manage the project model from start to finish, while maintaining a tight schedule.
• Reports to the design Supervisor lead about the status of the design activities
• Supports in identification of deviations in job scope, estimation of changes and notices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years’ experience in Gas Compression
• A diploma in drafting from a recognized institute (eg: SAIT, NAIT or equivalent), or suitable alternative experience is required.
• Excellent understanding of piping and models. ** 3+ years of modeling experience is a requirement for this position**
• AutoCAD and 3D modeling. **CadWorx experience is a requirement of this position**
• Strong attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced TEAM environment.
• Hardworking and able to handle multiple tasks.
• OT may be required to meet deadlines.
