The PMA supports one or more Project Managers by providing administrative, scheduling, and office support. You will work with all team members to ensure that projects are completed accurately, on time, on budget, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
What to expect as a PMA at Downs Construction
- Provide exceptional service by answering and addressing incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and polite manner
- Assist customers, clients, and staff with queries and provide accurate information.
- Assist with obtaining required documentation and maintaining the integrity of information including contact information, claim information, and all financial data.
- Actively work to drive projects forward by supporting Project Manager in the creation and execution of project schedules. Communicate schedules with all stakeholders and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Assist with scheduling of Emergency and Restoration staff, providing all pertinent job information.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns and complaints.
- Support management by contributing to office operations and productivity, ensuring workflow procedures are followed.
- Assist with review financial data in files upon job completion to ensure all costs are accounted for and financial goals are met.
- Attend job sites to assist with obtaining required documentation
- Attend job sites to do floor plans and build scopes for estimating
Skills Required:
- 1+ years of relevant work experience.
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Able to read and understand construction or insurance documents.
- Must be punctual, self motivated, and able to multi-task.
- Extraordinary organization and multitasking skills, able to administrate multiple jobs simultaneously and accurately.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion to help customers
- Able to demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and always respond promptly to inquiries through various channels.
- Computer proficiency, comfortable using different systems and applications.
Working Conditions
- This position can require long hours on the computer coordinating and scheduling project, which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Interaction with a wide variety of people on various issues.
- The nature of this position may require both occasional additional work hours in order to meet project/customer requirements.
- This position can require a large amount of travel to remote job sites spread throughout our territory
