Responsibilities:
- Review documents, blueprints, project drawings, contracts, and specifications in detail and inform the appropriate team about potential issues or conflicts.
- Plan and manage daily operations and construction schedules while monitoring progress.
- Liaise with the project team, consultants, and sub-contractors.
- Support accountant on project accounts payables and receivables by reviewing invoices and providing cost codes them.
- Delegate work as required to support staff.
- Complete Quality Control inspections with Design Team to ensure the project is up to Heritage Lane Builders Standards
- Complete walkthroughs with homeowners 1 – 2 weeks prior to possession and one on possession date.
Job Duties:
- Consult blueprints, designs, and documentation to develop construction plans.
- Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes.
- Create and enforce employee/subtrades schedules and construction timelines.
- Review invoices for accuracies and provide additional information on irregular invoices.
- Apply cost coding to invoices based on the type of work.
- Update general manager on progress of each home on a consistent basis.
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage project teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with project management software BuilderTrend an asset
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
