Job Title:Quality Administrator
Department: Quality Assurance
Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Johnstown, Ontario
Greenfield is looking for a “Quality Administrator” to join our growing team.
The Quality Administrator works as part of the Quality team, supporting quality and productivity objectives. They provide administrative support of the day-to-day function of the Quality department and Customer relations.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Completion of High School at minimum.
  • Post secondary education preferred but not required.
  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate competently both oral and written form.
  • Compile and interpret vast quantities of data.
  • Read, interpret, prepare, or assist in the preparation of documents.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Clearly describe problems to co-workers, operators and management.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Adequate numeracy related to the position.
  • Proficiency in computer software, specifically Office Applications.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Within area of responsibility, develop, promote, and positively support goals and objectives in the areas of Health, Safety & Environment, Product Quality and Consistency, Customer Service, ISO compliance, FSMA compliance, FEMAS compliance, FSSC, ISCC compliance, Internal Supplier Relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participates positively in and supports compliance of FEMAS, FSMA and any other food and feed safety standard.
  • Supporting fulfillment of all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
  • Support goals and objectives to align with the vision in the areas of Health, Safety & Environment, Product Quality and Consistency, Customer Service, and Internal Supplier Relationships.
  • Support effective Customer Relations, including preparation of samples and associated documentation.
  • Supports the team in compliance in GMPs, and food and feed safety.
  • Track, prepare and complete sample shipments as required by regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Maintain schedule and calendar for annual and ongoing sample requirements.
  • Support EHS Manager in the tracking and execution of Environmental Compliance related water sampling and associated documentation.
  • Provides administrative support for Quality Related Management Systems (ISO 9001, FSMA, etc.) implementation and maintenance, internal and external audits.
  • Support document control and administrative duties with the ISOVision software platform.
  • Support the maintenance of documentation related to product specifications, customer documentation, audits and customer communication resolution.
  • Provide support for sensory program, including set up of odour and taste panels.
  • Provide administrative support for sensory program, including the recording and communication of results.
  • General lab upkeep and housekeeping as required.
  • Retains
  • Equipment Cleaning.
  • Management of waste and update of waste tracking log, communicating inventory to the EH&S Manager as required.
  • Support inventory of lab supplies and consumables, including receipt of shipments and restocking where necessary.
  • Data entry to support lab and other activities.
  • Other duties as required.
