A Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant is responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance procedures and systems within an organization. The role involves working closely with other members of the QA team to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key responsibilities of a QA Assistant include:
- Conducting routine inspections and audits of products and services to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Documenting quality issues and working with the QA team to investigate and resolve them.
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance procedures and processes.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of Quality Assurance activities.
- Providing training and support to staff on Quality Assurance procedures and requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of Quality Assurance activities.
- Participating in the development of new products and services, ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the process.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on Quality Assurance activities.
To be successful in this role, a QA Assistant should possess the following skills and qualifications:
MUST HAVE :Health Canada Security Clearance
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, healthcare or other industry is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
