We are seeking an experienced Operations Technician to join our team. As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data to drive improvements. This is a 1 year maternity leave position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute testing and release of MROs in a timely manner to support production.
- Support packaging material testing and release as a needed basis.
- Review and issues Master Batch formats for production activities (manufacturing and packaging).
- Update and maintain all master batch record format lists (MBFL) as current to facilitate production and document flow.
- Regulatory audit/inspection support to Quality Operations department.
- Coordinate, issue, control, track, and archive production logbooks.
- Release semi-finished production job orders to the next stage of fabrication/processing.
- Support QO technical assistant in fulfilling customer GMP documentation requests related to batch/lot production records and other GMP related records.
- Support QC packaging material in maintaining PM and MRO release documentation.
- Generate certificates of analysis (CofA) and corresponding GMP batch certificates for finished product release.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College diploma or B.Sc. in a relevant scientific discipline
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is considered an asset. Other combinations of technical training and experience will be considered.
- Experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, and associated standards preferred.
- Continuous improvement and innovator mindset.
- Experience with documentation.
- Detail oriented and good communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
