Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental prosthetics
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics is a plus
- Experience working as a dental receptionist is an advantage
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system is preferred
