The opportunity:
We are looking to add a part-time dental receptionist (dental assistant) to our busy dental practice. At Clinton Dental you will be working alongside talented, driven, and dedicated team members who work like a family. We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appts
- Optimize the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
- Assist with billing, insurance claims processing and accounts receivables
- Manage patient paperwork and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Process referral letters and other patient correspondence
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team offering support to other team members when required
- Able to work in a busy atmosphere with quick turn around time
- Experience in administration with dental software is considered an asset
- Level II dental assistant certification an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 30 – 33 per week
