Dental Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our practice. Full-time Monday-Thursday. No Fridays or weekends.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office

- Schedule and confirm appointments using Cleardent

- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns

- Collect and update patient information in medical records

- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims

- Assist with billing and financial transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow

- Follow office protocols and maintain patient confidentiality

- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a dental office preferred

- Familiarity with Cleardent is an asset

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and treatments

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
