SalaryJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. Some Dental Assisting as needed(Will train - Primary role Dental Reception). As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a positive patient experience. Duties: - Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing - Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details - Maintain patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Epic - Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow - Process payments and handle billing procedures - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred - Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Dentrix or Epic - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Familiarity with general office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners) Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
