Dental Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the office's phone system
- Collect and update patient information in ABELdent
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage patient records, including filing, organizing, and retrieving documents
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with billing and insurance claims submission
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Skills:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting
- Proficient in using front desk phone systems and experience with ABELdent
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
