Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring a smooth operation of our orthodontic office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills. Experience in medical or dental field is an asset, however not a requirement.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using electronic patient records system
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Assist with patient registration and check-in process
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Process payments and provide billing information to patients
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service record
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
