Dental Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The position is to cover a 1 year Maternity Leave possible permanent. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.

The ideal candidate must be able to work day shifts, one evening shift and 2 saturdays a month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental office software (Paradigm)
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance related inquiries
- Handle billing and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
