Join us as our Recruitment Manager for Craft roles, where you'll spearhead recruitment initiatives spanning diverse domains. This is a permanent, salaried position based in Calgary, AB.


What would you be doing?

  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Attraction Strategist to research and deploy innovative job advertising methodologies, exploring novel channels for talent acquisition.
  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of customized recruitment strategies for projects and Turnarounds.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Leads, Workforce Manager, and Senior Leaders to forecast future staffing requirements, ensuring proactive readiness, offering insights into staffing levels across all positions, and strategies to rectify any imbalances.
  • Support the Recruitment Director in the annual budgeting process.
  • Assist the Recruitment Director in various recruitment tasks and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Supervise direct reports, including managing time-off requests, overseeing banked hours, and monitoring overtime.
  • Compile and deliver finalized versions of KPIs and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and audit) to the Recruitment Director.
  • Oversee the implementation, communication, and ongoing support of comprehensive recruitment processes and talent strategies.
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion within recruitment endeavors.
  • Foster and enhance the organization's employer brand and reputation within the job market.
  • Monitor and evaluate critical recruitment metrics to refine strategies and streamline processes.
  • Periodically participate in job fairs, college recruiting events, and networking functions.
  • Maintain regular working hours with flexibility during peak recruitment periods.

Does this sound like you?

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Recruitment Manager or in a comparable role, specifically emphasizing high-volume, full cycle recruitment
  • 4+ years’ experience managing a team with progressively expanding responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in reporting recruitment highlights to executive leadership is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with budget management in a recruitment context is a plus.
  • Proven ability to excel in high-pressure environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
