This is an on-site, full-time permanent position, best suited for someone who is passionate about solar and battery-powered energy. Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. The successful candidate will lead, support and develop three teams:
- Engineering and Technical Support: includes design, product development and product support
- Construction: includes construction supervisors and installation teams in New Brunswick and other satellite offices.
- Supply Chain: including inventory management, asset management, Branch Managers and warehouse and office spaces
- Base salary: $75,000 to $120,000 (depending on experience)

As the Operations Manager, you will:
- Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials, overseeing Project Workbench and Management Software.
- Collaborate on budget planning, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Ensure effective utilization of policies, procedures, and filing systems.
- Implement measures to uphold high standards and meet customer expectations, addressing any issues.
- Analyze project data for improvement and profitability insights.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain activities for timely delivery.
- Identify and address operational risks, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Implement safety policies and promote workplace wellness through inspections.
- Recruit, train, and manage personnel for optimal performance in a positive work environment.
- Drive initiatives for operational optimization and innovation.
- Experience developing, supporting or operationalizing a high-performance team with skills that include leadership, time management, problem solving, financial acumen and communication.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Willing to travel from time-to-time when needed to support the setup and operations of new satellite offices.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
