Job Overview:
As Release Manager for the International team at RBI, you will be responsible for managing our weekly release cycle and maintaining the integrity of our test environments. You will work with our QA regression team to prepare and validate our release candidates and inform stakeholders of any release blockers or post-release incidents. You will work with the Engineering and Product team to address issues associated with releases. You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously updating the release process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage our regular release cycle.
- Oversee configuration of our test and production environments.
- Provide release status updates to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Facilitate the creation of both internal and client-facing release notes.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to release processes.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA and Product teams on addressing ad-hoc requirements.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience working with production software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to cope with a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work with Engineering team to solve problems.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience managing release cycles.
- Previous experience managing multiple environment configurations.
- Able to work with command line interface and code editors.
- Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or similar feature flag management software .
- Experience with Sanity or similar CMS.
- Previous exposure to QA testing practices.
