Role Overview

Provide telephone and web based (email, chat, IM, internet portal) remote technical troubleshooting to internal and external customers in support of Kodak’s proprietary workflow systems Kodak Prinergy, Kodak Preps, Kodak Pandora. This is an Offset Printing support position.

Support includes in depth technical troubleshooting, diagnosis of issues, recommendation for process efficiencies and improvements, remote connectivity to customer sites using proprietary and approved support tools, training, and new customer installation/start-up assistance.


Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Maintain, continue to develop and keep current with Offset Printing industry standard technologies, workflows and software applications.
  • Maintain, continue to develop and keep current with both Apple Macintosh processes, networking protocols and operating systems
  • Maintain, continue to develop and keep current with Kodak technologies, software applications, support methodologies, best practices and processes as they relate to our proprietary systems and workflows (ongoing training provided)
  • Contribute to Kodak’s intellectual property by identifying needed documentations, Standard Operating Procedures, and known solutions for inclusion in support databases
  • Contribute in ensuring that technically efficient, workable, and cost-effective solutions and/or systems and processes are in place
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and assistance to fellow team members, within the company, and for our customers and partner companies
  • Maintain and continue to develop excellent communication, interaction and customer service skills
  • Maintain and continue to develop excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting methodologies and possess the ability to analyze and interpret complex information and problems
  • Maintain and continue to develop excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Flexibility in working shift work on a regularly scheduled basis (shifts cover 24 hours per day, 7 days per week)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative and team based environment
  • Ability to travel and provide direct onsite support to Kodak’s customers and partner companies
  • Maintain a great sense of humor and contribute to a positive and enjoyable work environment


Minimum Requirements:
  • Recognized University or College degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and Offset Printing.
  • Advanced knowledge of the print industry or experience in the commercial print industry. Understanding of complex workflow including but not limited to RBA, Preps, Prinergy, ColorFlow, Cloud technologies.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complicated information.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Macintosh OS.
