We are currently looking for a Support Worker for our residential programs who is eager to work as part of a dynamic team to make a positive impact on each individual to whom we provide services.

Areas of responsibility:
· Understanding, implementing, and following treatment plans and daily schedules
· Ensuring the safety of all clients in the residence, which may include crisis management and physical containments
· Providing a safe and clean environment; upkeep of the home is part of the daily responsibility
· Providing care to all residents which may include personal care, medication administration, liaising with family, medical and other professionals and other service providers to address the needs of the residents.
· Transporting residents to community functions or appointments using the company supplied vehicle
· Accurate daily documentation, record keeping, and report writing
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Completion of a 2-year program at an Ontario recognized college/university program – DSW, CYC, or SSW
· Full Class G drivers license, insurance, and a clean drivers abstract
· Previous experience in a residential setting is considered an asset
· Current UMAB training is also considered an asset
· Sound crisis management skills
· Ability to use discretion and good judgement in a fast-paced residential treatment setting
· Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
· Applicants must be physically able to carry out physical interventions/containments when required
