Job Overview:
The Libretto Restaurant Group - operators of Pizzeria Libretto & Enoteca Sociale - are currently searching for a Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for helping the restaurant meet service goals and sales standards, while continually exceeding guest expectations.
- Confidently and politely address elevated customer queries
- Maintain good customer and public relations with guests, vendors, and suppliers
- Maintain cleanliness and working condition of all equipment through personal inspection, following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
- Receive and keep an accurate record of deliveries in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
- Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures, including completion of opening and closing checklists
- Conduct recruitment and training of FOH staff
- Create weekly employee schedules
- Responsible for inventory, purchase orders and placing orders for all liquor, beer and small ware items
- Ensure compliance with cash control procedures
- Complete daily shift end reports and follow up at line up the next day
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead a team and be a motivational team player
- Smart Serve certification required
- Knowledgeable and passionate about wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Results-driven
- Preferred 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry
