Chachi's MARDA LOOP is a small business in SW Calgary, AB. We serve deluxe sandwiches, mac, pickles and deli items. Our focus is on providing high quality food and excellent customer service.

OVERVIEW

Now hiring a new manager at Chachi's Sandwich Bar in Marda Loop! We are looking for a mature team leader, full-time (40 hours), to help grow sales, promote a healthy work culture, and manage day-to-day store operations.

If you are hard-working, energetic, and passionate about food then Chachi's is the right job for you! Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work well with a team, and enjoy working with food.

**Candidates must have 4 or more years of food service experience, with at least 1 year management experience or 2 years supervisory experience**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Balance cash complete cash reports and related forms, perform monthly inventory counts
• Place food orders, determine food pars and manage food preparation, quality and service excellence
• Conduct informal and formal performance reviews with staff
• Be able to cost products and services
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and labour costs
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Develop, implement and analyze budgets
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Evaluate profitability metrics with owner
• Provide customer service excellence and encourage google reviews
• Recruit, train and supervise staff
• Manage Point-Of-Sale accuracy, including third party orders for delivery apps and ensures order accuracy and quality
• Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance all areas of the restaurant in line with health and safety standards

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED required
• 4 year or more restaurant industry experience required, with at least 1 year of managerial experience or 2 years of supervisory experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
