What You'll Do
- You will supervise shifts by leading other hourly employees to adhere to Denny's brand standards
- You will coordinate restaurant activities by observing the guest flow
- You will monitor sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing
- You will complete shift walkthroughs and take corrective actions when needed
- You will communicate employee relations issues, deviations from brand standards, and other guest issues to the attention of an exempt manager
- You will help Denny's achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
- You will perform other duties as required or assigned
Who You Are
- You have a high school diploma or GED certificate, as well as a Management Food Safety Certification
- You have completed all e-learning job code modules
- You consistently display the Guiding Principles
- You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
- You are a team player, collaborative and attentive
- You have excellent guest service and people skills
- You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
- You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
- You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
- You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
