about this team
The NA Retail Operations department is responsible for delivering operational solutions that support our North America stores to deliver best in class guest experience and drive business results.

The Retail Product Operations team is responsible for creating and delivering best-in-class product and hemming operational solutions for our stores and guests. Guided by our NA Retail Operations Store Principles, we define in store product operational processes that bring our product vision to life, drive in season sell through and maximize business results.

a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Lead identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the team and with other departments. Includes standardization of processes (templates), identifying process opportunities, and drive implementation of improvements
  • Propose, align and execute process improvement priorities based on cost-benefit analysis, project complexity and risk
  • Establish performance objectives for continuous improvement portfolio, monitors and reports on health and status, accomplishments and key risks and issues
  • Responsible for evolution and creation: strategy, cross-functional alignment, decision making, leading change management, writing communication, creating content (ie: youlu, FAQs, resources) implementation and follow up (quizzes and surveys)
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups to ensure that the needs of stores are considered and included with risk mitigation plans while planning the execution of any communication, project or initiative
  • Provide options and impacts to cross functional stakeholder and decision makers with a clear recommendation
  • Identifying areas for cross-functional collaboration and bringing the right people together to propel work forward
  • Escalate and drive the solution of in the moment/urgent operational issues that impact stores
  • Enroll stores in changes & updates from Stores Support Center departments
  • Identify and deliver on Retail Operations priorities to create solutions while mitigating store-facing risk

qualifications
  • Location: Vancouver 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as facilitation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, including business process mapping and analysis and value stream mapping
  • Experience with continuous improvement and integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment principles
  • Experience assessing the performance and capability of processes and teams through throughput, cycle times, and productivity, demand and capacity performance indicators.
  • Ability to deconstruct and restructure complex issues, drawing out meaningful business insights by synthesizing information from multiple sources (interviews, reports, data tracking, and analysis)
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and driving alignment in a dynamic environment
  • Project management, Process management experience an asset
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
