The Paw Barn is an independently owned and operated Retail Pet Specialty store with 2 locations (New Sudbury and Val Caron). Our focus is on customer satisfaction, ensuring that every single customer and pet receives the best service possible from our trained experts.
As a result of our continued growth, we are recruiting an Assistant Manager for the Val Caron operations team. The ideal candidate for this position will possess exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities Include:
- Development and implementation of policies & procedures
- Continued team product knowledge development and training
- Product ordering, stock counts, inventory management
- Scheduling, on boarding, managing, team engagement
- Store merchandising and managing custom orders
- Delivering the best customer service possible
Required Experience:
- Min 2 years in retail management experience
- Min 2 years minimum in retail merchandising standards
- Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
- Understands the importance of Customer Service
- Have a strong passion and love for pets
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $38,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
