Job Summary
As Supervisor you'll workclosely with the Assistant Manager to ensure a successful launch of the newly expanded Critical Parts retail shop at the base of RMR. This role is a year-round, full-time position as the store transitions from a ski/board shop in the Fall/Winter to mountain biking and hiking in the Spring/Summer. As an ideal candidate you have Supervisory experience in the sporting retail world.
Essential Job Functions
- Create a dynamic and exciting work environment with effective business management.
- Hire, train, schedule staff and approve payroll.
- Ensure products are labelled with pricing.
- Assist withmerchandising.
- Provide sales training.
- Manage the guest experience and ensure service standards are met or exceeded to achieve a high Net Promoter Score.
- Manage online sales and shipping.
- Member of JOH&S committee
- 1+ years’ experience in a Supervisory role
- Experience selling soft and hard goods sporting equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Full-time, year-round position
