Dunes Trailer Sales near Grand Bend is seeking an RV Technician/Store Clerk to join our team! Job will consist of both Service Technician work in the shop and reception duties in the front office.

RV Technician / Store Clerk

Duties:

• Perform repairs and maintence on recreational vehicles (RVs)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Assemble and install RV components and accessories
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks
• Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Greet guests as they arrive at the store
• Assist customers with finding the proper RV parts & accessories
• Receive and sort parts deliveries. Take inventory and update tracking software
• Answer and forward incoming phone calls
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying
• Update calendars and schedule meetings/showing appointments
• Prepare marketing materials, posters, trailer flyers, etc. as requested
• Prepare documents for trailer sales
• Clean trailers upon arrival and between showings

Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Experience in automotive repair or dealership environment is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to think critically

• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. photocopiers and printers)
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service
• Experience in camping industry or experience owning an RV a plus

RV2 or RV1 certifications an asset, but not required. We offer competitive pay based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
