Sales and Marketing Manager
An exciting opportunity to join the new management team at The Regency of Lakefield as the Sales and Marketing Manager. Your primary responsibility is to develop and implement effective Sales and Marketing strategies to drive occupancy and promote the retirement home's services. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with potential residents, families, and referral sources. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, marketing expertise, and a genuine understanding of the needs and concerns of seniors and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales Strategy and Execution:
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve and exceed occupancy targets
· Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities for growth
· Develop and implement lead generation strategies to identify potential residents actively seeking retirement home services.
· Nurture leads through effective communication and follow-up, guiding them through the decision-making process and addressing any concerns
· Collaborate with the senior management team to set sales goals and ensure alignment with overall business objectives
· Customer Relationship Management:
· Build and nurture relationships with potential residents, their families, and key referral sources such as healthcare professionals and social workers
· Conduct personalized meetings and tours with prospective residents and provide information on the retirement home's amenities, services, and lifestyle offerings
· Act as a point of contact for inquiries, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for potential residents and their families
· Marketing Strategy and Branding:
· Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the retirement home within the community
· Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, online content, and social media posts, to highlight the unique features and benefits of the retirement home
· Maintain a strong online presence through the management of the retirement home's website and social media profiles
· Event Planning and Community Engagement:
· Organize and participate in events, workshops, and seminars to engage with the local community and generate leads
· Collaborate with local businesses, healthcare providers, and community organizations to establish partnerships that enhance the retirement home's visibility
· Budget Management:
· Develop and manage the Sales and Marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and efficient use of resources
· Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
· Collaboration with Other Departments
· Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, healthcare services, and finance, to ensure a seamless transition for residents and a consistent brand experience.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred and/or proven experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in the senior living or healthcare industry
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with seniors and their families
· Knowledge of industry trends related to retirement homes
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
