The Marketing Manager, Advisory is responsible for the management and implementation of national marketing initiatives for KPMG's Advisory business including Risk Consulting, Deal Advisory and Management Consulting.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Advisory, and working closely with the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for owning the end-to-end planning and execution of marketing projects and supporting the overall development and implementation of the national Advisory marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with senior practitioners to help them achieve their business objectives with strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns.
In collaboration with colleagues in Functional and Industries Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Global Marketing teams you’ll proactively ensure consistent and integrated programs that deliver business impact. You will also partner with related support teams including Communications, our in-house creative agency and external vendors, to execute marketing programs and tactics that build brand, grow client relationships and drive revenue.

What you will do:- Develop and implement national marketing activities to achieve Advisory business objectives, with support and guidance as needed from the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director.
- Act as the trusted marketing business partner and point-of-contact for leaders and practitioners in our client-facing Advisory teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an appropriate mix of activities that highlight KPMG’s expertise and client-facing leaders through content marketing & thought leadership, digital and social marketing, and enabling regional team’s account-based programs.
- Work closely with various marketing support teams (communications, in-house agency, compliance, etc.) to provide exceptional integrated marketing service and deliverables to internal client and business development teams.
- Ensure relevant external web pages are created and continuously monitored and optimized for performance.
- Develop strong relationships with your counterparts in Functions and Industries Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Global Marketing, while maintaining an awareness of their programs to achieve deeper integration and collaboration.
- Analyze and report campaign performance and KPIs, interpreting the data to provide honest and meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Proactively support a culture of testing, optimization and innovation across all organic, paid and client/internal marketing channels.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing or communications in a national or global organization.
- Post-secondary or Bachelor’s degree related to marketing, communications or business.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience building relationships and working with senior executives.
- Equal strength in strategy and planning/execution with experience managing multi-channel projects/campaigns that include content creation, digital media promotions, events, social media, and email marketing.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business issues and translating these into engaging and relevant marketing content.
- Self-directed individual with an eagerness to excel, who is not afraid to ask questions, challenge and ask for help.
- Agile thinker who is accustomed to a fast-paced environment and finding a way through ambiguous situations.
- Experience working in a complex matrix-style system and organization structure is an asset.
- Strategic mindset with experience analyzing and drawing insights from campaign performance and external research studies and industry data.
