Sales Coordinator
If you have a passion for the tourism and hospitality industry, and a love for the mountain lifestyle, then this role is for you! You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing team to ensure a smooth execution of weddings, groups, tours and more.
You will:
ü Provide effective and efficient administration and coordination of all Sales & Events functions through group and wedding event execution, sales reporting, while liaising with other departments in order to exceed client expectations.
ü Provide administrative and general support to the Sales & Marketing Team.
ü Coordinate sales packages and presentations for clients as needed.
ü Maintain pricing and packaging grids and sheets to update website and other collateral.
ü Assist the Sales Specialist in following up with clients.
ü Prepare, track and fulfill all ticket orders in group sales system.
ü Attend wedding and trade shows, including overnight travel, as required.
ü Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program.
ü Assist Guest Services with ticket sales as needed during busier periods.
ü Perform other duties as assigned.
You:
ü Have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a four-season resort in a sales or marketing capacity.
ü Hold a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in business or related field - an asset.
ü Have previously established corporate or group contacts within resort industry - an asset.
ü Have advanced skills in Microsoft Windows and database or Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) programs.
ü Have excellent knowledge of the tour group, accommodation, and special event market – an asset.
ü Have a proven track record of establishing contacts, building relationships and effectively utilizing network to drive revenue in target segments.
ü Are able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight travel up to 10%.
ü Are detail-oriented, have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
