What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take charge of our sales team, inspiring and guiding them to success.
• Drive rental revenue and profit objectives to new heights.
• Track and Improve: Monitor sales performance against plan, conduct regular sales meetings, and initiate impactful sales campaigns.
• Manage rental rates and continuously strive to improve rate and utilization.
• Maintain close communication with branch operations personnel to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Assist the Credit Department in their collection efforts.
• Collaborate with Fleet Management to pursue lucrative equipment sales opportunities.
• Keep everyone in the loop by reporting monthly on key sales activities and outcomes against the plan.
• Develop sales strategies for key market segments, contributing to the company’s overall growth.
• Become highly involved in our marketing strategy through networking events, social media, and industry campaigns.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in the construction equipment rental industry or equivalent, with at least 6 years of Sales Management experience.
• Strong time management, presentation, and negotiating skills.
• Broad knowledge of construction equipment.
• A business undergraduate degree would be a significant asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Availability to travel regularly throughout the region; this is primarily a field-driven position.
• Very good problem-solving skills.
