In the position of Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for the successful execution of the Pre-Owned strategies, growth and overall performance of the department. The right person for this role will be an active force in driving sales and results through exceptional customer interactions, fostering industry relationships, and focusing on the growth of their team.
You will be accountable for:
- Maintaining vehicle inventory through understanding relevant trends, previous sales history, and local market data.
- Proactively finding ways to grow market share, overall customer satisfaction and overall sales expectancy.
- Championing lease portfolio growth through a firm understanding of available programs, benefits, and training.
- Forecasting and achieving objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
- Leading salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and providing them with the support to meet these goals.
- Understanding manufacture and government regulations and ensuring store compliance
- Organizing and executing sales events, advertising efforts and internal promotions.
- Ensuring proper follow-up of all guests through the development of sales processes and after purchase programs.
- Conducting daily and weekly meetings with a strong focus of internal growth, target achievement and product knowledge.
- Maintaining a culture of high NPS, guest appreciation and leasing focus.
- Other related duties.
To be successful, you must have:
- Experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.
- Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices
- A firm dedication to providing a great experience for both customers and staff.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- A valid AMVIC license.
- Experience with V-auto, PBS and Dealertrack is an asset.
