About the Role
The position is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity for process improvement, managing requirements, and ensuring processes are aligned with the overall organizational strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist Sales Coordinator with disposition of customer tooling, processing customer documents and tracking of approvals through process.
- Assist Sales Coordinator by gathering tooling information. Assist by taking photos of tools for tracking, analyze information prior to submission to customers, including interaction with other plant personnel, providing direction and assistance.
- Prepare documents for submission to customers specifically: tooling disposition requests, shipping documents for tools removed from company property.
- Identifying tools from database, and updating database with all relevant tool information.
- Assist Service team in staging of approved tooling for disposal prior to third party pick up and removal. Documentation of tooling for service processes.
- Upkeep of internal tooling database as tools are added/removed from service department/company property.
Who we are looking for
- Enrolled in Post-Secondary Education
- Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use; strong ability in word processing and spreadsheet software; strong data entry skills; strong CMI skills
- Basic knowledge of General Accounting Principles
- Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
