Scale House Attendant / Administrator – Kingston
Full Time Permanent position (via temp to perm)
Job description
Our client, a family-owned metals recycling business is currently seeking an Office Administrator/Scale House Attendant to join their team in Kingston Ontario, with locations in Kingston and Ottawa Ontario. They are seeking a hard-working, dedicated, and safety minded individual to join their team.
Responsibilities

• Answering customers questions, provide pricing and advise on our logistics services
• Operating the cash register and carrying out day-to-day transactions
• Reconciliation of petty cash, petty cash counts
• Responsible to ensure all permits and licenses are renewed on a timely basis
• Assist to comply with safety standards
• Maintain service records for the fleet
• Track and file drivers logs

Hours

• 6 days per week (8am to 5pm), every Saturday (8am to noon)

Requirements and skills

• Provide information vital to the decision-making process.
• Reasonable knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience accounting software (Quickbooks)
• Proficient in computer skills including Excel and Word

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
