Full Time Permanent position (via temp to perm)
Job description
Our client, a family-owned metals recycling business is currently seeking an Office Administrator/Scale House Attendant to join their team in Kingston Ontario, with locations in Kingston and Ottawa Ontario. They are seeking a hard-working, dedicated, and safety minded individual to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Answering customers questions, provide pricing and advise on our logistics services
- Operating the cash register and carrying out day-to-day transactions
- Reconciliation of petty cash, petty cash counts
- Responsible to ensure all permits and licenses are renewed on a timely basis
- Assist to comply with safety standards
- Maintain service records for the fleet
- Track and file drivers logs
- 6 days per week (8am to 5pm), every Saturday (8am to noon)
- Provide information vital to the decision-making process.
- Reasonable knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Proficient in computer skills including Excel and Word
