SCALE HOUSE & DISPATCH OPERATOR

Upper Canada Stone, is a multi-product quarrying company that supplies a wide range of dimension stone and architectural aggregate products to various industries across North America.

Due to our continued growth and development, we are seeking a friendly, professional, detail oriented person who is customer oriented, able to multi task, well organized, who has problem-solving abilities and is responsible.

This position requires computer skills, must have excellent phone skills, organizational skills, and be able to think on one's feet.

Administrative skills : operations of truck scale office, file management, data entry, and taking customer orders, logistic scheduling for pick up and deliveries.

Communication skills : Applicant must demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbal. English / French would be a considerable asset.

Attention to detail in work is expected. Experience in the construction or mining industries is an asset.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain accurate records of Scale House activities.

Scheduling for pick up and deliveries

Answer phone calls and email messages in timely manner.

Apply critical attention to detail and mathematical solutions when entering data in logistic paperwork (Bills of Lading and Customs forms).

Maintain the office in a clean, neat and uncluttered condition.

Other duties as needed.
