Job Description
As a Shipper/Receiver, your primary responsibility is to ensure that inventory is efficiently and accurately received at, or transferred from the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs and file all paperwork
- Monitor all un-received cartons and transfers and place the necessary claims with the FGL Claims Department
- Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
- Transfer stock to other stores as requested and transfer
- Detail received shipments from supply companies
- Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized
- Assist in preparation for physical inventory counts
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Passion for active, healthy living and sports
- Previous retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers (up to 50lbs)
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check (Must be 18 or older to complete a background check)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Computer literacy is an asset
