Role overview

 

What you’ll do

·       Assess, monitor, and enhance the Security Posture of our SAAS applications and cloud-based infrastructure.

·       Conduct regular audits to identify security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within the SAAS environment.

·       Analyze security configurations and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance security resilience.

·       Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for addressing security gaps and improving overall Security Posture.

·       Stay up to date on emerging SAAS security trends and technologies to proactively identify and address security risks.

·       Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations related to SAAS security.

·       Participate in incidents response and research resolution activities as needed.

 

What you bring to the role

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or related field. Advanced degree or equivalent relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.

·       5+ years of demonstrated ability in security analysis roles with focus on SAAS Security Posture Management.

·       In-depth understanding of SAAS architecture, cloud computing concepts, and SAAS security best practices.

·       Hands on experience with implementing and managing SAAS security technologies and platforms, including identity and access management (IAM), data loss prevention (DLP) and web application firewall (WAF).

·       Proficiency in utilizing security assessment tools and methodologies, such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

·       Demonstrated ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with superb communication and collaboration skills.

·       Proactive approach to identifying and addressing security gaps and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
