Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Canadian and US payroll
- Overseeing billing and Accounts receivable for Canada and US
- Overseeing Project Accounting and Revenue Recognition for Canada & US
- Managing monthly account reconciliations and processing of journal entries
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reporting including HST, EHT, WSIB, and T4’s
- Assist with Cost Accounting including product and job costing, inventory obsolescence and margin analysis
- Support the controller to ensure an accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close process
- Assist with the inventory cycle counts and annual physical counts
- Assist in the annual preparation budget and periodic forecasts
- Others as needed & assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in job/project environment and costing is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft skills
- Experience with various ERP systems including the ability to quickly learn new ERP
- Understanding of Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Accounting
- Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to keep focus on company objectives
Education:
- Completion of a University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a mid-level accounting role

Salary: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
