In their pursuit of excellence, they're on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Accountant - Job Costing. This role is integral in spearheading crucial operational initiatives and enhancing their financial reporting processes within a rapidly expanding team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant - Job Costing, reporting to the Controller, oversees day-to-day accounting operations for Manufacturing business. This role involves full-cycle accounting, GL coding, month-end close, and year-end audit support.
Responsibilities:

• Lead percentage of completion accounting for manufacturing
• Track costs for timely revenue recognition.
• Lead Job and Work Order close-out.
• Assist with Project Billing and Revenue Allocation.
• Support Month-End Close, Reporting, Audit, and Tax.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate GL coding.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Plan and execute inventory counts.
• Ensure ERP system integrity and identify enhancements.
• Review Payroll and Benefit payouts.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong IT and ERP systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial manufacturing or service.
• Familiarity with integrated ERPs, Concur Expense, Ceridian/ADP Payroll.
• Knowledge of corporate income and sales tax in Canada and the US.
• Experience with Power BI and/or SQL databases.
