Salary WE ARE SEEKING an experienced accounting professional to join the team in our Vancouver office, this is an on-site position. Working alongside our VP of Finance - this role plays a large part in our project accounting division and the day to day finance responsibilities. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a high energy environment and is keen to learn new things and apply new ideas to our company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Project accounting, including payment contracts, reconciliations and reporting
2. Sales order review and analysis/ reporting
3. Assist with monthly financial statements
4. Payroll preparation / review
5. WCB/T4/Benefits Administration
6. Bank Deposits
7. Monthly Journal Entries/Working papers
8. BS Reconciliations
9. Assist in managing the team
Must have:
1. Excellent Excel skills
2. ERP experience. Preferably Sage, SAP or similar.
3. Post secondary education in Accounting (A CPA designation is not required).
