As an integral part of this role, you will assume responsibility for overseeing daily office operations, spearheading team leadership, mentoring Accounting Technicians, engaging with business proprietors, and contributing significantly to the expansion of a thriving enterprise. Note that this is a hands on functional role with driven team of professionals in a small but growing branch location.

· Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 / year

· Location: Almonte, ON – fully on-site

• Manage file preparation, advisory services, and foster strong client relationships to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Review assignments including audit, review, compilation, corporate tax, personal tax, estate, bookkeeping and other compliance, tax research and accounting work
• Lead teams through periods of change, leveraging your expertise to navigate transitions and inspire a culture of adaptation.
• Oversee workflow, mentor junior staff, and cultivate a vibrant team culture within a dynamic office environment.
• Act as a guiding force, coaching and developing staff while navigating through the intricacies of Canadian tax laws and GAAPs, including ASPE and ASNFPO.

• Completion of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm and 2+ years in a leadership role, both required,
• Proficiency in Caseware/Caseview, Jazzit, Keystone, Excel, and Profile.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop staff, coupled with a strong grasp of Canadian tax knowledge across personal, corporate, and trust realms.
• Practical experience in Canadian GAAPs – ASPE and ASNFPO.
