Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Reporting

About the Opportunity

• Perform costing analysis of departmental financial and statistical data.
• Develop business plans in cooperation with Program Directors
• Develop and utilize tools to analyze costs, activity, and trend information
• Assist with the preparation of Ministry of Health financial and statistical reporting submissions
• Lead Directors and Managers through the development of their operating budget
• Prepare and verify internal and external financial and statistical reports
• Coordinate cost tracking and reporting for special projects
• Understand Ministry of Health financial and statistical reporting rules and funding formulas
• Utilize financial and reporting software systems such as Meditech, Budman, Power BI and Excel

About You

• CPA designation
• Minimum three years of work experience as an accountant or financial analyst required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and function in a changing and sometimes demanding work environment
• Proven ability to confidently communicate effectively by conveying straightforward and understandable explanations and rationale in a professional and respectful manner to all levels of staff both individually or to a group.
• Proven ability to focus effort on meeting customers' needs and expectations and monitoring delivery to ensure the client is receiving the service that they need.
• Demonstrated strong analytical ability with advanced skill and insight to gather and sort key information to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of an individual, group, department, or organization objective.
• Ability to apply systematic, logical reasoning when addressing problems or situations in order to arrive at an appropriate solution or outcome.

Pay Rate
$55/hour
