Support workstreams relating to Global Human Resource Records and Information Management through initiation to successful completion, to ensure protection, accessibility, retention, and disposition of records.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Contributes to Global HR RecordsInformation Management activities related to development/implementation of governance programs and frameworks, policies and procedures, and internal controls
Performing analysis, engaging/collaborating with required stakeholders, and creating strategies/solutions to execute record management for various information channels
Supports or leads in Global HR RecordsInformation Management activities related to discovery, development, solutioning, implementation, governances, policies and procedures, and internal controls
Presents information to stakeholders/leadership in a structured manner to clearly convey message, recommendation, and/or decisions required
Identifies downstream impacts to engage participation, and perform change management through communications and/or training
Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:
College Diploma or University Degree with 5 or more years relevant experience in Human Resources
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to investigate complex problems and making sense of information
Results oriented and able to effectively execute in a fast-paced environment
Actively listens and seeks to understand needs with genuine curiosity to identify solutions through effective questioning
Technical skills is an asset (cloud-based applications, HR applications, databases, reporting)
Understanding of Data management is an asset
Experience in reviewing legislation, policy, and supporting documents is an asset
