Group Liquidity and Global Cash Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy, stress testing, daily cash management and reporting (financial, regulatory and management).
The chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting daily US Liquidity FR2052a production and the production of the monthly enterprise liquidity data reconciliation against EGL. The incumbent will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.
This is a 14-month temporary full-time position.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the daily production of US FR2052a including all necessary manual workarounds; provide variance analysis and commentary to management.
- Assisting in daily/monthly reviewing enterprise liquidity data against bank's EGL and other benchmarks; provide manual adjustments to daily/weekly/monthly LCR/NCCF/NSFR reporting.
- Managing mapping tables that are consumed by ALRE/DIS/Algo process for both of US Fr2052a and enterprise reporting.
- Reviewing the net new counterparty for liquidity reporting.
- For project releases, assisting in establishing test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for both of enterprise reporting and US Fr2052a reporting.
- Assisting in preparing business requirement documents and maintaining proper operational procedures.
- Working closely with GWRT to establish resolution protocols with respect to issues arising from the production or project activity.
- Working closely with GRT to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, performing actual UAT testing activities.
- Documenting UAT test case results via closure reports on test cases that have passed or recording defects in JIRA for those cases that have failed UAT.
- Establishing a regression test protocol and perform the same prior to the promotion of the system build into production.
- Assisting in responding to regulator or management queries
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- An undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics required. MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.
- A minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI
- Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
- Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank's various systems would be an asset.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
