What will your typical day look like?

The role of Global People Analytics within Global Talent supports and/or leads projects as identified. The current portfolio is varied and changes often. The individual will identify data-driven insights for an executive audience, support experimental research for developing People Analytics methodologies, and have experience conducting advanced data modeling and developing analytics solutions.

As part of the Global Talent team you will:

  • Manage the development and execution of advanced People Analytics and data visualization in support of global, member firm or global business initiatives as needed, including strategic priorities
  • Support the design, development, and delivery of research experiments from planning, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting results
  • Develop compelling, logically structured, actionable data driven insights (including storytelling of research/analytics findings) for all audience levels, including Executives
  • Maintain and coordinate data collection, transfer, storage, analysis, and retention processes
  • Support the governance, execution, and coordination of data-driven strategic projects, analyses, and visualizations for Global Talent, and liaise with Deloitte Technology and Global Finance
  • Assist with preparation of deliverables (e.g., meeting agendas, presentations, summary/notes, etc.) for key project meetings (e.g. Deloitte People Analytics community) or Global Talent meetings (e.g., Executive Leadership Team) and leadership communications
  • Support management of ongoing relationship with key stakeholders associated with project and priorities
  • Collaborate on the development of tools and technology to support People Analytics and the application of behavioral science
  • Support knowledge sharing across member firms and global businesses, including the delivery of special initiatives (e.g., working groups with MF stakeholders, developing internal points of view on talent topics, timely support on global issues like COVID-19)
  • Stay informed on new research and techniques related to people/HR analytics that could be applied to Global Talent priority areas
  • Future responsibilities could shift to other projects. If so, the underlying responsibilities would be similar, yet the topic area would change.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • University degree required. Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience working in a large, multinational organization, preferably in the Consulting or HR/Talent function for a professional services firm. Multiple years working at global professional services firm, especially in consulting or human capital consulting would be beneficial experience for this role.
  • Analytical experience in an applied setting - preferable in People Analytics - including an understanding of data strategy and associated governance programs
  • Familiarity with basic talent strategy, processes, concepts, data, technology, and trends (including promotions, hiring, attrition, compensation/total rewards)
  • Experience interpreting and understanding key talent challenges, and advising on data-driven actions to investigate and remediate those challenges
  • Managing projects, team members and stakeholders, including the ability to partner, engage and/or direct individuals across different levels from executives to peers
  • Significant experience building relationships with and prioritizing work from a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Advanced skills working with PowerPoint, with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Experience using or working knowledge of R, Python, and Tableau desired
