As a Senior Corporate Research Analyst in the Corporate Planning & Performance Business Unit, Performance Measurement and Reporting team, you will provide analytical, research and coordination support to various projects. You will work collaboratively with team members on the development and delivery of corporate Performance Reporting and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting.
You may also be involved in other emerging strategic initiatives. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to and learn about some of The City¿s key corporate processes. Primary duties include:- Design and manage tools that support collaboration amongst stakeholders and enable processes such as SharePoint.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information to write reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with others to develop high quality reports and presentations.
- Develop and deliver tools and progress tracking mechanisms and maintain program records.
- Conduct research on methods and best practices to support the delivery of program components.
Qualifications
- A degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience; OR a Master¿s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to build trust and listen effectively and build relationships.
- Success in this position requires excellent strategic, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to analyze, synthesize and present complex information visually or in writing.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and act on their own initiative, and to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
