SalaryA DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Build, document, and be accountable for quality and robustness of various data pipelines
- Optimize data processing workflows, queries, and algorithms to improve efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance scalability
- Adapt existing ETL solutions to ongoing changes in data sources. The data sources include third party APIs events captured on O2E Brands
- Continuously monitor data quality, identifying discrepancies, while also developing and implementing automated checks and validation processes to ensure high-quality and accurate data.
- Integrate data between disparate systems
- Convert code from R to Python language
- Automate data-related tasks using SQL, Python, Rivery, Fivetran and Airflow
- Create data models, dependencies, version control, testing and documentation in Data Build Tool (DBT)
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 5 + years of experience working with Python, SQL, ETL processes.
- Strong experience with API's, data integration, engaging the full SDLC (testing, documenting, etc.).
- Proficiency in creating data models, dependencies, tracking and managing software changes / modifications.
- Must be motivated, curious, and passionate about all things data!
- Experience working within the AWS platform, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, a strong asset.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
-Salary per annum: CA$ 100,000 - 105,000 (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
