The Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy is a business minded, analytical thinker who plays a crucial role advising the Senior Leadership Team in achieving results. You leverage your strong modelling skills in providing the insights necessary to meet the dynamic changes of the Cymax Group business, as you understand the importance of being a data driven thinker. Who You Are
3 years of experience working in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
Relevant industry experience working in SaaS, eCommerce, and/or Logistics.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, etc. Advanced Excel financial modelling skills.
Adaptive, PowerBI or SQL programming language an asset.
CFA, CMA or MBA designations are required (or working towards completion).
What You'll Do
Builds, owns, and maintains the key financial models to support ad hoc reporting and analysis, scenario planning, evaluation of new market opportunities and other strategic initiatives.
Resolves complex operational challenges and opportunities by making data-driven recommendations and leveraging their deep understanding of the business.
Holds Operators accountable to results by completing scenario analyses, forecasting results, and ensuring ROI is maximized. Actionable recommendations are made to Directors and VPs in a timely manner.
Owns the data pipeline used and actively partners with the Data Analytics team.
Senior Financial Analyst

Prepares annual and quarterly decks for investors and Board members.
Leverages data-driven analyses and understands macro-economic factors to identify and articulate risks and opportunities.
Actively involved in the implementation of a modeling and data analytics tool (Adaptive) and integration with a new ERP system (Microsoft F&O).
Evaluates financial and qualitative aspects of prospective strategic initiatives (organic growth plans, strategic partnerships, joint ventures) by supporting the Corporate Strategy team.

Compensation
We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. The base Salary Range for this role is between$80,000 and $100,000 depending on experience, skills, training and organizational needs.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. This compensation range reflects the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or above the midpoint of the range for their role. Only in rare and exceptional circumstances, where a candidate has the experience, skills and expertise to far exceed those required for the position, will we consider paying above the midpoint of the range for this role.
